SOKO - Association of Municipalities of the Ore Mountains
Association of Municipalities of the Ore Mountains was established in 28.5.1999. Currently comprises the municipalities of Chomutov: Blacksmith, Medenec, Loucna under Klínovcem and Carlsbad parts: God's gift, Upper Blatna, Jáchymov and Pernink.
The objective of the association is to coordinate land use plans, development, design and implementation of joint projects, events and activities, coordination of major investment projects in the area of interest, a common procedure for obtaining funds from various funds, to jointly promote business in the micro-region, increasing the attractiveness of the area for investors, increased environmental protection in the area of interest, a common approach in achieving ecological stability of the territory, reducing unemployment in the microregion, information, and initiating action against the businesses and residents of the area.
